Deep Vein Thrombosis

Deep Vein Thrombosis or DVT is a condition where blood clots form in veins, usually in the leg. Localised symptoms can include leg heaviness, pain and swelling. Occasionally clots can travel to the lungs and cause serious health issues.

Varicose and Spider Veins

Varicose veins are enlarged veins in the legs caused by the valves not working correctly. As well as being cosmetically unappealing, veins can be sore, itchy and cause swelling. Severe varicose veins can cause issues such as ulceration.

Pelvic Congestion Syndrome

Pelvic congestion occurs when the veins draining blood out of the pelvis do not work properly. Blood pooling in the pelvis can cause pelvic pain and heaviness. It can also lead to varicose veins in the legs.

Deep Venous Disease

When the veins in the pelvis of leg are blocked serious complications such as pain, swelling, skin discolouration ulceration can occur. Recently developed treatment methods can open blocked veins and improve these symptoms.
